"Stolen Christmas Tree"
It was Black Friday and we always get our tree on Black Friday, so we followed suit as we had for so many years. We found this new place to get a tree (it was cheaper) so we figured we would get our tree there. We let the kids pick it out. It was a large tree that had to be "topped". Arthur cut it down and we all drug it back to the truck, paid for it and brought our new found love home. As we were setting it up we realized there was something wrong. The base of the tree was very small. As we screwed the screws in, they barely touched the tree trunk and the tree fell over. We decided to buy another tree rather then try to figure out a way to fix that one. Off we went to find another tree, in the dark mind you. Before we left, I put the first tree out, proped up against our mailbox with a big sign on it. The sign said "Fresh Cut Tree 20$". We left, found a new tree and came home. When we got home I noticed that the tree was gone. Yay, I thought, we at least recovered some of our money. I figured that someone took the tree and left the money in the door or mailbox. Well, Nothing, Nada! There was no money anywhere. I was baffled, but it was apparent, someone had stolen our tree. The tree was gone along with the sign that was tied around it.
